The E1 Racebird is ready-to-run (RTR) with everything included, making it accessible to newcomers. However, the hydrofoil technology and 25km/h top speed mean it performs best with some basic RC boating familiarity—consider starting in calm, open water to get comfortable with the handling.
A 7.4V 900mAh Li-ion 2S battery is included in the box, along with a USB balance charger. For exact charge times, check the manual supplied with your model, as this varies depending on charger specifications.
The box contains the assembled hull, 2.4GHz transmitter and receiver, water-cooled motor with ESC, rudder servo, battery, charger, propeller, transmitter batteries (4× AA), and a boat stand. You need only water and the included battery to start using it immediately.
At 545mm long (1:14 scale), the E1 Racebird is compact and portable. It's ideal for small to medium bodies of water like ponds, lakes, and calm coastal areas—just ensure the water is clean and free from obstacles, as it reaches 25km/h.
The hydrofoil lifts the hull out of the water at speed, reducing drag and enabling the boat to genuinely foil like full-size championship racers. This delivers improved manoeuvrability, a gliding sensation, and the boat's claimed 25km/h top speed.
