Maverick Quantum2 XT stadium truck and MT monster truck
The 1/10 4WD pair most people start with, on the same Quantum2 chassis with an HD wing mount and an adjustable wheelie bar. The brushed cars run a 550-size motor; the Flux versions fit a 3500KV brushless motor and a 3S-capable speed controller. The whole family sits in Maverick Quantum.
Maverick QuantumR Flux 4S and QuantumRX rally car
The bigger 1/8 4WD shaft-drive chassis on 4S power. The QuantumR muscle car and race truck are the road-going pair; the QuantumRX is the rally version, with long-travel shocks, gravel tyres and rally wheels. A conversion set turns a QuantumR into an RX.
Maverick QByte SC short course truck and XB buggy
Brushless 1/12 off-roaders — the SC on a short course body, the low-slung XB on a buggy one. The Flux versions come with a 7.4V LiPo and a USB charger in the box; the Pro versions run 3S for roughly double the speed and need a pack you supply.
Maverick Qbit MT 1/16 monster truck
A 1/16 4WD monster truck in brushed, Flux and Pro versions — small enough for a back garden, quick enough to be worth taking to a park.
Maverick Microbe 1/24 buggy and short course truck
Palm-sized 1/24 off-roaders on an anodised aluminium chassis, with a ball-raced drivetrain and oil-filled coilover shocks. Buggy or short course body, brushed or Flux brushless, battery and charger included. The ones that get driven indoors all winter.
Maverick Scout-24 rock crawler, Atom AT1 and Doha
The Scout-24 is a 1/24 rock crawler with a three-position transmission: neutral, a low ratio for picking a line over rocks, and a high ratio for covering ground between them. The Flux version adds brushless power and four-wheel steering. The 1/18 Atom AT1 and 1/20 Doha are the small trucks — more in Maverick mini RC cars.
Maverick Phantom XB, Phantom MT and Strada DT
The value 1/10s: the Phantom XB buggy and MT monster truck for a first hobby-grade basher, and the Strada DT rallycross car on a 4WD shaft drivetrain with waterproof electronics, brushed or brushless.
Why choose Maverick?
Every Maverick comes assembled and ready to run. What is in the box is not consistent across the range, though: the QByte Flux and the Microbe arrive with a battery and a USB charger, while the QByte XB Pro needs a 3S LiPo you supply. Check the product page before you order.
Flux in the name means brushless power, and Pro means a step up again — a higher-KV motor, a bigger speed controller and, on the QByte Pro, machined steel differentials in place of sintered ones. Brushed versions cost less and are easier on a battery, which is the sensible first car.
Scale decides where you can drive it. The 1/24 Microbe and Scout-24 and the 1/20 Doha run indoors and in a small garden. The 1/16 Qbit MT and 1/18 Atom AT1 suit a park or an empty car park. The 1/12 QByte, 1/10 Quantum2 and 1/8 QuantumR want open ground.
Because the chassis are shared, a part often fits more than one model — though the Quantum, Quantum+ and Quantum2 generations differ, so check the part name. What does Flux mean on a Maverick?
Flux is Maverick’s brushless power system. A Flux model has a brushless motor and a speed controller that takes more cells, so it is faster than the brushed version of the same car and costs more. Pro versions step the spec up again — a higher-KV motor, a bigger speed controller and, on the QByte XB Pro, machined steel differentials.
Do Maverick cars come with a battery and charger?
It depends on the model, so check the product page. The QByte Flux models and the Microbe include a LiPo and a USB charger; the QByte XB Pro runs 3S and needs a pack you supply.
Which Maverick is best for a beginner?
The 1/24 Microbe and the 1/16 Qbit MT are the least expensive way in and will run in a back garden. If you want a full-size basher, the brushed Quantum2 XT or MT is the one with the deepest parts support behind it.
Is Maverick the same as HPI Racing?

Will Quantum parts fit more than one model?

What is the difference between the Quantum2 XT and the Quantum2 MT?
The same chassis with different bodies and wheels: the XT is the stadium truck and the MT is the monster truck. Both come in brushed and Flux brushless versions.
