The Focus III suits both newcomers and experienced sailors. It arrives fully assembled and ready to sail, making it accessible to beginners, though familiarity with RC operation will help you get the most from it.
You'll need 8 AA alkaline batteries in total: 4 for the transmitter and 4 for the receiver. These are not included with the boat, so you'll need to purchase them separately.
The box includes a fully assembled hull, carbon fibre masts and booms, printed sails, 2.4GHz radio system, two metal-gear servos, ballast, keel, battery box, ON/OFF switch, and a display stand. Once you add the 8 AA batteries, it's ready to sail.
The boat is 995mm long with a mast height of 1578mm when assembled. It weighs 2930g, so it's a substantial metre-class sailboat; check your storage space before purchasing.
The Focus III comes with a 2.4GHz 4-channel digital proportional radio control system included in the box. For compatibility with other transmitters, check the product manual or contact our support team.
