RCNI – The DIRT

Down, BT32 3PA, Northern Ireland, BT32 3PAThe Dirt Radio control Northern Ireland's 1/8th offroad facility "The Dirt" is a twenty two thousand square foot all dirt racing track, situated on the outskirts of Loughbrickland in county down Northern Ireland. The track features an all dirt base with technical jump section's and tricky off camber racing sequences. The facility has large on site parking, car cleaning stations, nitro warm up area and disabled access on and off the drivers stand. The Astro Radio control Northern Ireland's 1/10th offroad facility "The Astro" is a six thousand square foot all Astro Turf racing track. Situated in the outskirts of Loughbrickland in county Down, Northern Ireland. The track features modular jump sections to allow for easy layout availability and elevation changes on the track surface to challenge even the very best drivers. The facility has large on site parking, car cleaning stations, and disabled access on and off the drivers stand.

Address: s81 8eu, North East, S81 8EURadio Controlled Cars have been raced at RHR since 1988 and it is one of the most well known and popular R/C tracks and facilities in the UK and Europe offering astroturf and outdoor off-road carpet tracks. The venue is located near Blyth, North Nottinghamshire in the parish of Torworth. There is a modern portal frame arena, race control and toilet blocks, a cafe, a large flat, grassed area for parking, indoor pitting with power and camping/caravan facilities including mains water and electricity for charging. Open for practice sessions strictly only by arrangement.

Established in the early 1970s, it is one of the longest-running clubs specialising in on-road 8th Stockcars, which are modelled on Brisca F1 cars and powered by 3.5cc nitro engines. Racing takes place from March to October, mainly on Sundays, with additional Friday evening meetings held under spotlights. The venue provides full facilities and welcomes newcomers and experienced racers alike. During the summer we race at the same time on a grass track outdoors in Redberth, most common classes are 1/10 2wd and 4wd buggy, 1/10 shortcourse and 1/8 ebuggy/rallycar, sorry but there are no nitro/petrol engined rc allowed
