Ordered flishrc cobra. Communication was great. Ordered larger batteries but they were the wrong size. Olly shipped the right batteries and gave a refund for the difference I paid. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks for the help with the order.

The seller knew I was after one and very kindly informed me when they came back into stock so now have a Flywing Bell 206. Fantastic bit of kit. Well worth the wait.

Great service, car arrived fast and really well packaged. Also, I had a little problem....(which turned out to be me doing it wrong) but someone replied the same evening! Will definitely be buying from them again.

About this product
The Tamiya 1997 CLK-GTR (TC-01) is a 1/10 scale 4WD RC car kit, built on Tamiya’s TA-03R chassis. It arrives as a box of parts rather than a finished car, so you assemble the chassis, fit the electronics and paint or trim the body before the first run.
Finished, it measures 470mm long with a 257mm wheelbase.
Tamiya supply an electronic speed controller in the box.
Key specifications
- 1/10 scale RC model assembly kit. Length: 470mm, width: 194mm. Wheelbase: 257mm
- 1997 Mercedes-Benz CLK-GTR is recreated in lightweight and durable polycarbonate
- Separately moulded white ABS plastic parts recreate side mirrors and rear wing
- Silver mesh wheels are paired with racing slick tyres. (The rear wheels are wide tread.)
- TC-01 chassis
- The durable and composite monocoque-frame chassis provides shaft driven 4WD from a central motor via front and rear propeller shafts, with oil filled gear differentials
- 4-wheel independent double wishbone suspension employs A-shaped long arms, plus inboard setups front and rear with oil dampers actuated by push rods and rocker arms
- Use spacers and shims to easily alter camber, skid, and toe angle settings
- Both suspension arms and uprights are identical left, right, front and rear, for more efficient pit work
- Rear transverse battery position is also compatible with 139x47x25mm square-shaped battery packs
Tamiya kits are designed to be built with hand tools and a clear manual, which is what makes them a common first build as well as a shelf favourite.
