About the UIM E1 World Championship:
E1 is the world’s first and only all-electric raceboat championship sanctioned by the Union Internationale Motonautique (UIM), which is the international governing body for all powerboating activities. The UIM E1 World Championship will see up to 10 teams racing on the water in iconic cities around the world. Season 1 will feature seven thrilling races around the world.

The E1 Racebird is RTR (Ready to Run), meaning it comes fully assembled and ready to use straight from the box, making it accessible to newcomers. However, as a performance-focused speedboat reaching 25 km/h, it's best suited to those with some basic RC boat handling experience rather than complete beginners.
The boat includes a 7.4V 900mAh Li-ion 2S battery pack and a USB balance charger. For exact charge times, check the charger manual, as this varies depending on the charger specifications.
The box includes the assembled hull, 2.4GHz transmitter, receiver and water-cooling ESC combo, motor with gearbox, servo, battery, charger, propeller, four AA batteries for the transmitter, and a boat stand. You'll need to add water for testing and operation, but no additional RC equipment is required.
At 1:14 scale, the E1 Racebird measures 545mm long, 238mm wide, and 148mm high—roughly the size of a large model car. It's suitable for bathtubs, small ponds, and larger water bodies, though you should always ensure the water is deep enough and free from obstacles.
The boat reaches 25 km/h and features innovative hydrofoil technology—it actually foils and glides on the water like the full-size RaceBird, rather than simply skimming across the surface like traditional RC boats. This gives it a unique racing experience based on real UIM E1 Championship technology.
