This is designed for experienced RC boaters. The high speed (80km/h with 6S) and brushless motor require confidence in handling fast watercraft, and you'll need to be comfortable with LiPo battery management and maintenance.
You'll need either two 11.1V 5000mAh 40C LiPo packs (for 80km/h) or two 7.4V 5000mAh 40C LiPo packs (for 60km/h). Batteries are not included, and you'll also need a separate LiPo balance charger and four AA batteries for the transmitter.
The box includes a pre-assembled hull with graphics, water-cooled brushless motor, 90A waterproof ESC, waterproof 9kg servo, 2.4GHz 2-channel radio, CNC aluminium rudder, shaft drive system, two metal propellers (one for 4S, one for 6S), and an EVA boat stand. Batteries and charger are not included.
The total length is 1060mm (just over 1 metre) with a hull length of 950mm, width of 260mm, and a dry weight of 2.6kg. It's a full-sized competitive speedboat that requires a decent body of water to operate safely.
With 4S LiPo (11.1V) and the P1.4 x 60mm propeller, the boat reaches 60km/h. With 6S LiPo (7.4V) and the smaller P1.4 x 56mm propeller, it hits 80km/h. Both configurations are supported, so you can choose based on your preference for speed versus battery cost.
