Hobao’s first move into 1:10 scale On-road Electric Semi Trucks.
The Hyper EPX is released as an 80% ARR Roller version allowing you to equip the truck with your choice of electronics. Brushed, brushless, LiPo power you can spec the EPX to whatever level you wish.
Featuring high end performance materials such as CNC aluminium chassis, motor mount, shock absorbers, servo mount and Front/Rear gear diffs the truck is ready and capable to take on the most powerful of brushless combos if required.
Race inspired pivot ball suspension and aluminum threaded shocks provide fine tuning adjustment options to hone the EPX’s handling.

Frequently Asked Questions
You'll need to purchase an ESC, motor, servo, radio system, batteries (7.4V LiPo or 7.2V Ni-MH), and a charger. The truck is supplied as an 80% ARR roller, so you have full flexibility to choose electronics that match your budget and performance preferences.
This is best suited to intermediate to experienced builders, as it requires you to source and install electronics yourself. If you're new to RC, you may prefer a fully assembled RTR (Ready to Run) model, or ensure you're comfortable with electronics installation before purchasing.
The kit includes the CNC aluminium chassis, suspension components, aluminium threaded shocks, gear differentials, ball bearings, servo mount, motor mount, an unassembled clear body shell, 1/10 scale tyres and wheels, and a battery tray. Electronics (ESC, motor, servo, radio) are not included.
The truck measures 403mm (15.88 inches) long and 200mm (7.87 inches) wide with the body fitted, making it a compact 1/10 scale model that will easily fit in a car boot. It weighs 1.53 kg before electronics are added.
Yes, the truck is designed to accept either brushless or brushed motors depending on your preference. The CNC aluminium motor mount and high-end chassis components are capable of handling powerful brushless setups if you choose that route.
