Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the HBX 905A is a good entry-level option. It's an RTR (Ready-to-Run) model with a simple 2-channel radio system, and the brushed motor delivers reliable performance without the complexity of brushless setups. However, as with all RC vehicles, some basic familiarity with RC operation and maintenance is helpful.
The HBX 905A comes with a 7.4V 1600mAh LiPo battery (actual capacity 1300mAh) and a USB charging cable included in the box. For exact charge times and detailed charging instructions, refer to the manual provided with your vehicle.
The package includes the assembled RC buggy, the 7.4V LiPo battery (already built in), the 2.4GHz transmitter, a USB charging cable, and an instruction manual.
The HBX 905A is built for durability with a metal drivetrain including metal drive shafts, metal differential and wheel cups, full vehicle bearings, and metal gears. It features an independent horizontal shock-absorbing suspension system and is designed as a high-quality basher at its price point.
The HBX 905A is the brushed motor version, whilst the 901A features a brushless motor. The 905A is aimed at those on a tighter budget where extreme top speed is less of a priority, but it still delivers solid performance and durability with the same quality construction.
