Frequently Asked Questions
This is a high-performance 1/8-scale buggy designed for experienced drivers. With a top speed of 90km/h and brushless motor, it requires confident handling and familiarity with RC vehicles. We'd recommend prior RC experience before purchasing.
The ZD Pirates3 includes a 3S LiPo 11.1V 5000mAh battery and a charger. You'll get approximately 20 minutes of run time per charge. A charger is included in the box.
The package includes the assembled RC car with battery installed, a 2.4GHz 4-channel remote control, a user manual, and a charger. The remote requires four AA batteries, which are not included.
At 1/8 scale, the buggy measures 486mm long, 306mm wide, and 210mm tall, with a wheelbase of 324mm. It's a sizeable model suited to larger outdoor spaces such as fields or dedicated RC tracks rather than small gardens.
Yes, the 120A ESC is compatible with 3S and 4S LiPo batteries, so you can upgrade to a 4S pack for higher performance if desired. Always ensure any replacement battery is 3S or 4S LiPo and properly balanced before use.
