MJX Hyper Go Range Explained — 1:20, 1:16, 1:14 & 1:8

MJX Hyper Go is a family of small, fast, ready-to-run RC cars that share the same idea: brushless power, metal drivetrain parts and a low price. The model numbers tell you the size. In the models we stock, 20xxx is 1:20 scale, 16xxx is 1:16, 14xxx is 1:14, and the H8H is a 1:8 crawler.
If you just want a recommendation: the 16207 buggy is the best first Hyper Go, the 14303 rally car is the best all-rounder, and the 14209 truck is the fastest. The eight models below are ordered by price. Read RC car scales explained if the sizes are new to you; our LiPo vs NiMH guide covers the 2S and 3S batteries these cars use.

1. MJX Hyper Go H16E: the entry point

MJX Hyper Go H16E 1/16 Remote Control High-Speed RC Truck
1:16 scale, 390 brushed motor, all-metal transmission, GPS speed tracking, listed at 38 km/h
£64.99
View productThe H16E is the brushed one, and the cheapest route into the range. It still gets the all-metal transmission and full-time 4WD, and it is listed at 38 km/h. The party trick is the Hyper Wheels phone app, which logs top speed and route by GPS.
Best for: younger drivers and anyone who wants to try the range for the least money. Watch out for: run time. The listing quotes about seven minutes, so a second battery is worth having.
2. MJX Hyper Go 20208: the small one

MJX 20208 Brushless 1:20th Scale Monster Truck (2s Lipo Version) 39kph
1:20 scale, 1806 brushless motor, 35A 2-in-1 ESC, 2S 850mAh LiPo, listed at 39 km/h
£69.99
View productThe 20208 is a 1:20 monster truck with an 1806 brushless motor and a 35A speed controller, listed at 39 km/h. It arrives built, with a 2S 850mAh LiPo and a USB charger. It is the smallest Hyper Go we stock and the cheapest with a brushless motor.
Best for: small gardens, patios and indoor use where a 1:14 car would be too much. Watch out for: rough ground. At 1:20 the wheels are small, so keep it to short grass and hard surfaces.
3. MJX Hyper Go M162: the budget brushless

MJX Hyper go M162 MEW4 1/16 2.4G 4WD RC Car Brushless Off Road Vehicle Models 39km/h –
1:16 scale, 2835 brushless motor, 35A ESC, 7.4V 1500mAh battery, listed at 39 km/h

Best for: a first brushless car, or a second car to lend to friends. Watch out for: the transmitter batteries. The listing says three AA cells are needed and not included.
4. MJX Hyper Go 16207: the 1:16 favourite

MJX HYPER GO 16207 3S 1/16 Brushless High Speed RC Car Vechile Models 45km/h
1:16 scale, brushless, 4WD, listed at 45 km/h and faster on a 3S battery
£99.99
View productThe 16207 buggy is one of our best-selling cars of any brand. It is listed at 45 km/h as standard and it accepts a 3S pack for more, using the MJX 3S battery kit that fits the 16207 to 16210. Low and stable, it is the 1:16 model to pick for speed.
Best for: most people buying their first Hyper Go. Watch out for: 3S power on a small car. It is a big jump in speed, so try 2S first.
5. MJX Hyper Go 14304 Lancia Delta: the drift car

MJX Hyper Go 14304 67kph Brushless 1:14 Scale Drift Car Lancia Delta
1:14 scale, brushless, waterproof ESC, three sets of wheels, licensed Lancia Delta body, listed at 67 km/h
£115.99

Best for: car parks, tarmac and smooth gravel, and fans of 1980s rally cars. Watch out for: grass. With its ride height this is a hard-surface car.
6. MJX Hyper Go 14303: the rally car

MJX Hyper GO 14303 Brushless 1/14 RC Car – High Performance, 4WD Remote Control
1:14 scale, brushless, 4WD, Lancia Delta-style rally body
£119.99
View productOur most popular 1:14 Hyper Go. The 14303 is a brushless 4WD rally car with a Lancia Delta-style body, and it sits between the buggies and the drift car: quick on tarmac, capable on gravel and short grass.
Best for: mixed surfaces and all-round use. It is our budget pick in the best RC cars of 2026. Watch out for: long grass, which will stop any car this low.
7. MJX Hyper Go 14209 V3: the fast truck

MJX Hyper Go 14209 75kph Brushless 1:14 Scale Truck V3 (2s & 3s Lipo Version)
1:14 scale, brushless, V3 with alloy steering assembly and hex screws, 2S and 3S, listed at 75 km/h
£129.99
View productThe 14209 truck is the quickest small Hyper Go we stock, listed at 75 km/h. This is the V3, which adds an alloy steering assembly and hex screws throughout. It runs on 2S or 3S, and the taller truck stance gives it more ground clearance than the 1:14 cars.
Best for: drivers who want the most speed from the 1:14 platform. See our fast RC cars guide for what is quicker. Watch out for: space. 75 km/h needs a large, clear area.
8. MJX Hyper Go H8H: the big crawler

MJX H8H Hyper Go RC Crawler Brushless 1:8th Scale Crawler Truck (Blue Orange)
1:8 scale, brushless, high and low gear, lockable differentials, IP67 protection, 140 LEDs
£379.99

Best for: crawling and trail driving at a scale that makes real obstacles possible. Watch out for: the size and price. It is the one Hyper Go that is not a pocket-money speed machine.
Brushed, brushless, 2S and 3S
Brushed or brushless. Only the H16E here is brushed. Brushless motors are faster, more efficient and need less maintenance, and they are the reason this range has the reputation it does.
2S and 3S. A 2S battery is 7.4 volts and a 3S is 11.1 volts. Models marked for both go noticeably faster on 3S. The MJX 3S battery kit fits the 16207 to 16210 and the 14301 to 14304, 14209, 14210 and 14211.
Spares. These cars get driven hard, and parts wear. Suspension arms, driveshafts and bodyshells are all sold separately, so a crash is a repair, not a write-off.
Charging. Most models come with a simple USB charger. It works, but it is slow, and a proper balance charger is a worthwhile upgrade. See how to charge LiPo batteries safely.
