Ordered flishrc cobra. Communication was great. Ordered larger batteries but they were the wrong size. Olly shipped the right batteries and gave a refund for the difference I paid. Couldn't ask for more. Thanks for the help with the order.

About this product
Description
The Joysway Fishing Surfer V3 is the newest version of the 850mm surfcasting bait boat, supplied ready to run with the Toslon TF520 fish finder. It takes your baited hook up to 500 metres from the beach on twin brushless motors and drops it where you choose, so you can fish marks no cast could reach.
What is new on the V3
- Stronger hull material for a tougher boat through the surf and on launch and recovery.
- Redesigned propellers.
- More room in the motor compartment.
Everything that made the V2 popular carries over: GPS return, four memorised fishing spots, self-righting, navigation lights and the big 16.2Ah LiFePo battery.
Features
- Long-range bait drops: twin brushless motors push the boat out to 500 metres at up to 3 metres per second.
- Built for the sea: self-righting in waves up to 1 metre, with a sealed hatch to keep water out.
- GPS autopilot: one-button return to your launch point, plus four spot memories to drop bait on the same mark again.
- Two release points: rear and bottom hook and bait release, worked from a dial on the transmitter.
- TF520 fish finder included: fits the boat’s reserved mount and power port, so you can see depth and fish before you drop.
- Battery warnings: the transmitter shows the boat’s battery level, and the front and rear LED lights flash a low-voltage warning.
- Run time: about 45 minutes of continuous manual driving, or around 14 bait drops within 200 metres, per charge. Using the GPS autopilot stretches both.
How bait release works
- Fit the LiFePo battery under the hatch, secure it with the strap and connect it. Switch the transmitter on before the boat.
- Turn the transmitter dial to C to retract both lock pins, then to B to lock the bottom release.
- Turn to A to open the rear hopper, load your bait and hook, and close the hopper lid.
- Drive the boat about 10 metres out and hold GPS (ON) for 5 seconds to store the return point.
- At your mark, turn the dial from A to B to open the door, then B to C to release the bait and hook.
- Hold one of the four positioning buttons for 5 seconds to memorise the spot. Press GPS (RETURN) for 1 second and the boat comes back to 10 metres from shore; any stick input hands control back to you.
When the battery runs low, the four green lights on the transmitter flash. Bring the boat in straight away: it has roughly 500 to 800 metres of driving left.

Frequently Asked Questions
The V3 has a stronger hull material, redesigned propellers and more space in the motor compartment. The GPS autopilot, 500 metre range, self-righting hull, battery and radio are carried over from the V2.
The Fishing Surfer V3 is ready to run: it arrives assembled, so there is nothing to build. Driving a boat 500 metres out with GPS features suits anglers who are comfortable with RC equipment, so practise close to shore first if you are new to it.
The box holds the boat, the Toslon TF520 fish finder, a 2.4GHz radio with GPS, a 9.6V 16.2Ah LiFePo battery, a fast AC charger, a boat bag and an EVA boat stand. You need 4 AA alkaline batteries for the transmitter, plus a surf rod and reel holding around 500 metres of line.
About 45 minutes of continuous manual driving, or around 14 bait drops within 200 metres, per charge. Using the GPS autopilot extends both. For charge times, check the charger's manual.
The Fishing Surfer V3 is 850mm long and delivers bait up to 500 metres from shore. At long range, the GPS return button and the front and rear LED lights help you keep track of it.
Yes. It is self-righting, so it turns itself upright if a wave flips it, and it is built for waves up to 1 metre. The hatch is sealed to keep water out.
