This is a competitive racing kit with a direct-drive 2WD setup and adjustable suspension, so it's best suited to intermediate drivers or those with some RC experience. The relatively simple chassis configuration helps, but beginners may find the tuning and setup more demanding than an entry-level car.
The Yokomo Rookie Speed GT1 requires a short size Li-po battery only—this is not included in the kit, so you'll need to purchase one separately along with a compatible charger.
The kit includes the GT car body, all-round radial pattern rubber semi-slick tyres, and the chassis with front kingpin and coil spring suspension. You will need to source a short size Li-po battery, charger, and radio system separately.
