XFly 1233mm GlaStar features a strut-braced high-wing, fixed tricycle landing gear and a single engine in tractor configuration. Capturing the thrill of incredible Short Takeoff and Landing (STOL) capabilities in design, the GlaStar also features slow speed control, sporty flight performance and ultra-friendly handling.
Unique to the GlaStar, it comes equipped with a pair of oversized airfilled tires. The air-filled tires serve as a shock-absorber when rolling over a sudden change in landscape, having significant advantage while taxing or aggressively landing on packed dirt or grass surfaces. The magnet released, top-mounted hatch offers convenient and easy access to the battery compartment.
XFly Model has designed a recognizable colour scheme for the GlaStar V2 and equipped it with thicker air-filled tires and a reinforced aluminium land- ing gear strut. The upgraded power system, including an uprated motor and a 40A ESC, is compatible with both 3S and 4S LiPo batteries that meets RC pilots’ need for more power, speed and longer flight times up to 10-15mins.

The GlaStar V2 is described as ideal for experienced pilots, though it does offer trainer-friendly handling characteristics. Its slow-speed control and STOL design make it forgiving, but you should have some RC flying experience before attempting bush landings on unprepared terrain.
You'll need a 3S or 4S LiPo battery (not included); the aircraft features a XT60 connector. Flight time is 10–15 minutes depending on your battery capacity and flying style, so most pilots buy multiple batteries for extended sessions.
The ARR (Almost Ready to Run) airframe includes the motor and 40A ESC pre-installed. You must separately purchase a transmitter, receiver, and LiPo battery to fly it.
The GlaStar V2 has a 1233mm (approximately 1.2 metre) wingspan, making it a medium-sized trainer/bush plane. Check your storage space accordingly, though the wing may be removable—consult the manual for assembly details.
