The Maverick Phantom features new electronics with a powerful 12 turn 550 motor and uprated waterproof 60 amp electronic speed control. Upgraded Maverick radio now includes a 3rd and 4th channels to operate optional accessories such as lights. The battery 1800mAh Nimh battery & peak detect 0.5A USB charger are ultra simple & safe to operate but easily upgraded for longer run times & more speed for the experienced hobbyist.

The brand new Maverick MTX-400 controller features a real steering wheel, just like full-size cars, plus loads of dials for fine-tuning the handling and controls of your truck! The pistol grip shape feels natural in the hand and with just a pull of the trigger, you are off and running! There’s buttons to control the lighting, too: turn the lights fully on or off, or have just the brake lights on! The control is literally in your hands!

Everything you need to get your Phantom MT up and running is included in the box with a 7.2V 1800mAh Maverick Element + NiMh battery pack and super-convenient Delta-Peak USB charger! This means you can charge your RC car battery with virtually any mobile phone wall charger!
IT”S SO EASY AND FUN TO DRIVE!
To drive the Phantom XT, simply pick up the controller with your left hand, put your left index finger into the trigger area, and then put your right hand on the steering wheel – it’s as natural as driving a real car! Turn the wheel to go left and right, and gently pull on the trigger with your left index finger to go forwards. To stop the car, gently push away from you with your left index finger – then release and push away again to go into reverse. It takes seconds to get used to this easy operation, and pretty soon you”ll be racing with your friends!

A sturdy moulded tub chassis and strong suspension moulded in nylon plastics for the ideal balance of strength, flexibility & durability. Power from the motor is delivered via a steel drivetrain parts centre shaft, differentials, rear dog bones, front universal driveshafts & axles. Powerful 7Kg servo is equipped with a spring-loaded protector in case of crashes.
