About this product
The Kyosho Ultima Pro 2wd 1:10 Kit *Vintage Series* (item K.30626B) is Kyosho’s Vintage Series re-release of the legendary Ultima Pro, recreating the period-correct chassis and bodyshell as a buildable kit.
The 1/10 scale EP 2WD Ultima first arrived in 1986 and took a 1-2-3 finish in the 2WD class at the 1987 IFMAR World Championships in the UK. The Ultima Pro followed in 1988 as its natural evolution, swapping the original monocoque for a double-deck layout — a flat aluminium chassis with an FRP upper deck — for an ideal balance of rigidity and controlled flex.
This re-release keeps that proven structure and adds the longer front lower suspension arms from the 1989 revision, with the wheelbase extended by a further 10mm for improved stability.
