Description

The First Mini-Z is Kyosho’s way into proper radio control, and this one wears
the black Trans Am from Knight Rider — scanner bar across the nose, K.I.T.T.
to anyone who grew up in the eighties.

What separates it from a toy R/C car is the New Real Drive Mechanism: proportional
steering and throttle, so a small turn of the wheel gives a wide arc and a full turn
gives a tight one, exactly as a real car behaves. A shock-absorbing suspension and
high-grip rubber tyres keep it settled, and the body arrives pre-assembled to display
standard.

Two speed modes switch at a touch — 7km/h Training and 10km/h Race — and the
2.4GHz controller has a built-in stopwatch reading to 99.99 seconds. Six mini pylons
are in the box, so you can lay out a course on the carpet and run time attacks. Up
to twelve cars can run together without interference.
