Description
Porsche’s most track-focused 911 of its generation, recreated as a 1:10 electric touring car. The 2018 911 GT3 RS in its signature Lizard Green sits on Kyosho’s Fazer Mk2 FZ02 chassis and arrives as a factory-built Readyset: add a battery, a charger and four AA cells and it is ready to drive.
The “RS” stands for Rennsport — racing sport — and the body wears everything that name implies: the aggressive aero kit, the vented front wings and the enormous rear wing, all reproduced in Kyosho’s Ultra Scale Body Plus finish. The body is factory painted and decorated, and it now mounts with no clips at all, so nothing spoils the lines of what is effectively a running display model.
Body highlights
- Ultra Scale Body Plus — faithful body, light bezels, grille, bumpers and mirrors, with concealed clipless mounts (the same system as the Fazer D2).
- Headlights, front position lamps and tail lights are clear injection-moulded parts.
- Light buckets accept Kyosho’s 97054 LED Light Units — fit four clear LEDs front and rear (recommended: 97054-4C × 2, sold separately).
- Mesh wheels with low-profile tyres in an original semi-slick tread.
- Plated dummy brake discs and painted callipers for extra scale detail.
Fazer Mk2 FZ02 chassis
- Full-time 4WD with shaft drive — easy to drive fast for beginners and experienced drivers alike.
- Low centre of gravity nylon chassis with an integrated gearbox for torsional rigidity.
- Front and rear gear differentials and a sealed transmission that copes with dusty car parks.
- Slipper clutch, oil-filled shocks and ball bearings throughout the drivetrain.
- KS202W waterproof steering servo fitted as standard.
- Motor mount has fixed holes for each pinion (29T–37T), so no fiddly gear-mesh adjustment.
- Brake-disc wheel hubs in two offsets (0mm / +5mm) suit 190mm and 200mm bodies.
- Hex button screws throughout, so maintenance needs fewer tools.
