The BMW 2002 Turbo, introduced in 1973, is one of the most revered sports cars of its time. The first-ever production turbo car for BMW and any European car maker, it combined power, precision, and a distinctive style that made it an instant classic. Powered by a 2.0-liter, turbocharged engine, the 2002 Turbo was the first production BMW to feature an exhaust turbocharger, delivering exhilarating performance as well as thrilling driving dynamics. Its bold, aggressive design and racing pedigree cemented its place as a true automotive icon.
Under the hood, the 1/10th scale version of the BMW 2002 Turbo is equipped with the HPI Racing Sport 3 touring car chassis! With a full-time shaft drive, fully sealed 4WD drivetrain, waterproof electronics, 2.4GHz radio gear, fully independent double wishbone suspension and adjustable oil-filled shocks it’s Ready to Rock in all conditions. It”s got plenty of power for 4-wheel drifts and jaw-dropping speeds at the pull of a trigger!
