HPI Racing Savage 3 Speed HD Gear Set (Second Gear 21/41t)

This steel 21/41-tooth HD high-speed 2nd gear set is an excellent upgrade for Savage XL owners running high-output engines in extreme conditions. Precision-machined from high-carbon steel, the gears are exceptionally durable, with accurate roundness and smooth tooth profiles that ensure consistent meshing, high efficiency, and long service life.

This pairing is more than a direct HD replacement. The 41T gear has been specifically designed to allow the 2nd-gear clutch to be accessed from outside the 3-speed transmission. To achieve this, the clutch position is swapped to the opposite side of the gear and the set includes a new layshaft with the appropriate pin positions.

This gear set is fully compatible with all previous Savage 3-Speed gearboxes.
