Frequently Asked Questions
This is designed for intermediate to advanced pilots. Whilst the 80% pre-assembly saves time, you'll still need mechanical knowledge to complete the build and tune the adjustable suspension and differentials effectively.
You'll need a 2-channel radio, ESC, motor, high-torque steering servo, LiPo batteries with XT90 connectors, a battery charger, AA batteries for the transmitter, glue for the tyres, and paint for the unpainted clear body shell.
The Hobao arrives 80% pre-assembled with the chassis, CNC aluminium parts, full ball bearing set, shocks, differentials, suspension components, body shell (unpainted), wheels, and tyres with foam inserts already fitted or included.
At 1/8 scale, it measures 460mm long, 308mm wide, and 180mm tall with a 325mm wheelbase, making it a medium-sized RC buggy suitable for most gardens and outdoor spaces.
