The Smyter DB is Ready to Run (RTR) and designed for getting started with RC jumping and bashing, making it suitable for beginners. However, as a 1/12 scale buggy with stunt-capable performance, it will reward those with some basic driving skills; check the manual for setup guidance if you're new to RC.
The Smyter DB comes with a Li-Ion 7.4V 1500mAh battery featuring a T-Plug connector and a USB charger included in the box. Simply plug the USB charger in and connect the battery to begin charging; refer to the manual for exact charge times.
The box includes the assembled buggy, Li-Ion 7.4V 1500mAh battery, USB charger, 2.4GHz radio transmitter with 2-in-1 ESC/receiver, front LED lights (customer to fit if desired), and a fully functioning spare wheel and tyre. The vehicle is pre-fitted with an LED roof light.
At 1/12 scale, the Smyter DB is compact enough for indoor use whilst capable enough for outdoor terrain. Its splashproof electronics and protective gear cover allow you to drive indoors and outdoors, including over puddles and rough ground.
The 390 brushed motor delivers stunt-capable performance with adjustable speed control via the Speed Dial on the transmitter, allowing you to limit speed as needed. The 4WD shaft drivetrain, independent double wishbone suspension, and 4-gear differentials provide excellent off-road grip and handling for jumping and bashing.
