A12WC 1/12-Scale Electric On-Road Car
The A12WC a refined version of the previous A12 kit firstly introduced during the 2020 World Championship and recently crowned IFMAR Spec World Champion in the hands of Awesomatix’s team manager Max Mächler. It includes the proven A12 concept where the rear spring action is controlled by the flexing of the chassis itself assisted by a pair of coil side springs that also act as an additional rear spring. The chassis shape is new and has been refined to further enhance the flex distribution while also incorporating the rear brace.
Our new motormount design keyed into the chassis using “key type” screws, further improves the tweak-free nature of the car making it virtually bulletproof in case of a hard crash. A new battery plate coupled with a new front suspension plate enabling a wider range of roll centres options. New left and right rear hubs allow truer and more reliable mounting for a wider variety of wheels. Two new tools for precise adjustment during build and fine tuning of the car setup are included in the kit. Clearly the A12WC retains the same front-end concept as the original A12, with quick camber adjustments through rotating steering posts, helical front springs and multiple front damping configurations controlled by O-rings and/or various grease viscosity while front caster settings are achieved by optional steering posts.
Special Features of the A12WC Pan Car Kit:

– Updated side springs mounting system and new body/spring holders for easier switching between narrow and wide side springs positions.
– New battery plate – updated for installation of different roll centres sets.
– New aluminium chassis with updated flex distribution incorporating the rear brace.
– New lightweight steering block posts.
– New motormount and left bulkhead featuring “keyed” mounting screws eliminating shifting in case of impact.
– New stiffer and stronger rear brace.
– New front suspension plate

– New left and right hubs of the rear axle with an increased contact area for more stable wheels.
– Two new tools in the kit – 6/7mm wrench and the gauge for rear suspension settings.
