About this product
The CR3.4eco Crawler in Bronco style is of interest to all those who love purist crawling or want to get started in this fascinating hobby on a small budget.
This vehicle is a “downgrade” of our original chassis “CR3.4 RTR” which is among the best on the market and this since 2020 already!
The quality of the installed parts is of course the same as its fully equipped brothers. The mounting points for special equipment such as the differential locks or 2-speed gearbox would theoretically also be available.
The vehicle comes as standard with a 550 32T Brushed High Torque motor and a HobbyWing 40A speed controller. You can use jumpers on the speed control to determine whether the vehicle be powered by a 7.2V NiMH battery or a 2S or 3S (low profile) LiPo battery!
Portal axles not only offer a greater distance from the differential housing to the ground than conventional axles, they also have another positive feature. With conventional crawlers, the torque applies so much force that the vehicle jumps over the obstacle. The design of the portal axles reduces the Gear ratio at the wheels and virtually eliminates torque shocks from the drive. The overall reduction ratio of the axle drive is more than double that of non-portal versions to ensure smooth running.
The steering shock absorber absorbs most hard impacts so that the 9kg MG steering servo and the servo arm are spared. Hardened steel drive shafts and a steering angle of 45.8° offer the best possibilities for any terrain. Added to this are the 2.2″ tires, which not only look stylish, but also offer extremely good grip thanks to the super-soft tires.
Our 4-channel, 2.4 GHz CR4S-V2 radio control system completes the package.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the CR4.4 WOLF is designed for both beginners and experienced crawlers. It features a proven chassis design, portal axles that deliver smooth torque to prevent jumping, and comes fully assembled (RTR), so you can start crawling straight out of the box.
The CR4.4 WOLF is compatible with 7.2V NiMH batteries or 2S/3S LiPo batteries—you can switch between them using jumpers on the 40A speed controller. The product description does not specify whether a battery is included, so please check your order confirmation or contact us to confirm what's in your box.
The CR4.4 WOLF is supplied RTR with the following: 2.4 GHz 4-channel CR4S-V2 radio control system, 9kg metal-gear steering servo, 40A Hobbywing speed controller, 550 32T brushed motor, portal axles, aluminium 4-link suspension, steel and cardan drive shafts, and 2.2" tyres. A battery and charger are not mentioned as included.
The CR4.4 WOLF is a 1:10 scale RC crawler, which is a popular mid-size for both terrain versatility and manoeuvrability. It features 2.2" tyres and portal axles that increase ground clearance compared to conventional axle designs.
Portal axles increase the distance from the differential housing to the ground and reduce the gear ratio at the wheels, which virtually eliminates torque shocks that would normally cause the vehicle to jump over obstacles. The overall reduction ratio is more than double that of non-portal versions, ensuring smoother terrain negotiation.
