The 1/16 Slyder is where most people start with Blackzon. Every Slyder is 4WD with a shaft drivetrain, independent double-wishbone suspension, adjustable coilover shocks, four-gear differentials and waterproof electronics behind a protective gear cover, so puddles and grass are not a problem. A speed switch on the transmitter lets you turn the power down for younger or newer drivers.
The Slyder MT monster truck and Slyder ST stadium truck come in brushed form with a battery and USB charger included, or as the Slyder Turbo with a brushless motor and 2S LiPo for much more speed. The Vyper models share the same 1/16 platform with an upgraded metal drivetrain, in rally (RX) and short-course (SC) body styles.

Blackzon Vyper: 1/16 rally and short-course trucks
The Vyper shares the Slyder’s 1/16 platform but adds a full metal drivetrain (metal differentials, spur gear and driveshafts) and aluminium oil-filled shocks. It comes in two body styles – the RX rally car and the SC short-course truck – each in brushed and Turbo brushless versions.

Which 1/16 Blackzon should I choose?
For a first RC car, a brushed Slyder MT or ST (£64.99) is the easiest start. The Turbo versions add brushless speed for £99.99. The Vyper models add a metal drivetrain in rally (RX) or short-course (SC) styles. They all share the 1/16 platform, so spares and setup carry across.
