Tamiya Volkswagen Dune Beetle Cross (BB-02)

The Tamiya Volkswagen Dune Beetle Cross (BB-02) is a 1/9 scale 2WD buggy kit, built on Tamiya’s BB-01 chassis. It arrives as a box of parts rather than a finished car, so you assemble the chassis, fit the electronics and paint or trim the body before the first run.

Finished, it measures 454mm long with a 283mm wheelbase. The body is polycarbonate, so it takes knocks better than a hard shell.

Tamiya supply an electronic speed controller in the box.

• The rear-wheel drive BB-02 chassis has floor pan design motifs with front and rear tyre housings to protect the model from dust
• The RC equipment box is positioned under driver and co-driver figures
