Despite its compact size, this truck is packed with impressive features, including a new all-metal 2-speed transmission, 4-link front and rear suspension, and universal telescopic counter-rotating driveshafts. With authentically scaled oil-filled shock absorbers and full-time locked differentials, the Venture18 offers dependable handling in all off-road conditions.
At its heart lies the new FLX18-3S20-T Brushless ESC, a true trail-ready controller designed for versatility and control. This advanced ESC allows you to switch instantly between Crawling Mode, with full drag brake for technical terrain, and Trail Mode for smooth throttle response and flowing exploration. The result is a truck that’s just as capable of slow, precise crawling as it is of high-speed trail running.
The Venture18 also marks the return of officially licensed Toyota products to the HPI Racing lineup. The meticulously crafted 1985 Toyota Hilux SR5 body features a clipless polycarbonate body, and it’s available in four striking color options.
The body is prepainted and also features clear windows, plus scale accents like Toyota emblems, front grill, door handles, wipers, functional mirrors, plus tube-style bumpers and rollbars for an impressive level of realism. The fitted LED light kit enhances the authenticity even further, giving the Venture18 that extra layer of detail that truly stands out!
