Looking for something different to stand out from the crowd? HoBao’s Hyper Cage Truggy electric roller provides you with a unique, aggressive looking chassis ready to accept your choice of electric power.
Using the SS chassis platform and suspension the Cage truggy features a complete aluminium roll cage similar to some of todays single seater full size buggies. Performance is everything you come to expect from HoBao with the quality and rugged design ideal for the demands of 1/8 off road. Despite its complex appearance the lightweight and impact resistant aluminium tubler cage can be hinged forward quickly with the simple removal of four screws providing quick access to the chassis and electric components.
As an electric rolling chassis you are free to decide what electronic package is best for you and your budget. Underneath the roll cage you will find a chassis that can accommodate most of todays current crop of high performance brushless motors, speed controllers and LiPo batteries. The moulded battery tray features three quick release velcro straps perfect for 2S, 3S and 4S packs. Colour coded, anodised aluminium chassis parts complement the roll cage assembly for an eye catching look. The newly designed front C-Hub suspension assembly, 3-differential driveline and 17mm big bore shocks soak up all that is in their path.

This is a kit requiring assembly and is best suited to experienced builders. You'll need to source and install your own brushless motor, speed controller, and battery, then build the chassis from components.
The Hyper Cage Truggy is compatible with 2S, 3S, and 4S LiPo batteries thanks to its moulded battery tray with three quick-release velcro straps. You'll need to purchase a suitable LiPo battery separately based on your performance requirements.
This is a rolling chassis kit, meaning it includes the aluminium roll cage, chassis frame, suspension components (C-hub assembly, 17mm big bore shocks, anti-roll bars), drivetrain (3-differential system, centre drive shaft), and hardware—but not the motor, speed controller, or battery.
At 1/8 scale, the Hyper Cage measures 550mm long, 415mm wide, and 205mm tall with a 360mm wheelbase, making it a sizeable model suitable for outdoor off-road use and fitting comfortably in most car boots.
The distinctive full aluminium roll cage can be hinged forward by removing just four screws, allowing quick access to the chassis and electronics for maintenance and repairs without full disassembly.
