Oswestry Radio Car Club, based at the Oswestry Showground, races every Thursday night with gates usually open at around 18:30 for open practice with racing starting at 19:30. In the summer months, we race outside on our all weather astro turf track with jumps and bumps galore. In the winter months, we venture inside to the hall with carpet racing and some jumps thrown in. We race 1/10th scale electric only, with the 2WD buggy being the most popular class, but we do host 4WD buggies and Stadium trucks. In the winter months we also race the popular Tamiya Rally class with rules on motors and control tyres all aimed at keeping the racing cheap and fun. The club provides a fun yet competitive racing environment with lots of novice and master racers alike. New comers are always welcome and the club members are a helpful and friendly bunch.
