Coastal Model Car Racing Club

Welcome to Coastal Model Car Racing Club, Located on the Suffolk Leisure Park, Wherstead, Ipswich, at the foot of the dry ski slope. We race 10th electric cars, both on and off road, and we currently have racers from 7 to well over 70! We have a permanent on road track, with sculpted kerbs, natural gradients and twisting layouts to test car and driver to the maximum. Or off road track has recently been overhauled and sports a bright blue Astro turf finish that is great to race on all year around. Currently we have our club championship meetings on alternate Sundays, running from 0900 until around 1600, and on the other alternate Friday’s we have our kids club and practice from 1800 to 2100. We have indoor pitting with full amenities for every meeting, mains power, seats, benches etc. Each rostrum is large enough for plenty of racers, and is roofed for the Great British weather. Each track is built to resist the worst of the weather
