Kyosho 1:18 Lamborghini Countach LP400S the Cannonball Run / Black
Key Specs
About this product
Description
The black Lamborghini Countach LP400S that opens The Cannonball Run is one of cinema’s great entrances: a couple of minutes of V12 noise, a radar detector and a blacked-out wedge disappearing into the American night. It set the tone for the whole film before a word of dialogue was spoken.
The LP400S was the Countach that made the shape famous. Launched in 1978, it traded the original LP400’s slim hips for Bertone’s flared wheel arch extensions, wide Pirelli P7 tyres and Campagnolo alloys, and offered the optional rear wing that became the car’s signature. It was slower than the LP400 in a straight line and nobody cared, because it looked like nothing else on earth.
Kyosho’s 1:18 die-cast recreates the film car in black, with the panel fit, paint depth and cabin detailing collectors expect from the brand’s static range.

Frequently Asked Questions
This is a fully functional RC car, so basic familiarity with RC operation is helpful. However, as a 1:18 scale model, it's relatively straightforward to control compared to larger or more complex RC vehicles, making it accessible to most hobbyists.
The product information provided doesn't specify exact contents. We recommend checking the detailed product listing or contacting our customer service for a complete box contents breakdown, including whether batteries, charger, and transmitter are included.
At 1:18 scale, this Countach is a compact desk or shelf-friendly size—much smaller than 1:10 or 1:8 scale RC cars. It's ideal for display collections and can easily fit in living spaces without requiring dedicated garage room.
This is a fully functional radio controlled car, not a static diecast model. You can drive it around, making it both a detailed collector's piece and a playable RC vehicle.
The black finish is designed to emphasise the Countach's aggressive lines and authentically represents the car's original colour from The Cannonball Run film. Like any black finish, it may show dust over time, so occasional gentle cleaning with a soft cloth is recommended for display.
