Chesterfield Auto Racing Society (CARS)

We are one of the oldest radio controlled model car racing clubs in the UK, founded in 1979. We had been based at Sharley Park Leisure Centre in Clay Cross for almost 30 years but moved to the David Nieper academy at Alfreton in 2022. We race on Saturdays. We alternate between on road and off road meetings. On road meetings are for 12th scale LMP, GT12s, Touring cars, Fronties, Hot Hatch and Minis. Off road is for 10th electric 2wd and 4wd with rubber tyres only. Doors open at 11:30am and we finish at 5pm. Visit the web site at www.carsrcracing.co.uk for more details.
