At radio-controlled.co.uk, we are committed to providing a seamless shopping experience. This page outlines our shipping and returns policies, ensuring transparency and reliability for all our customers.


Shipping Information

Dispatch Times

  • Same-Day Dispatch: Orders placed before 2PM on weekdays are dispatched the same day.
  • Orders placed after 2PM or during weekends will be dispatched on the next working day.

Delivery Options

We offer the following delivery methods:

  • 48-Hour Courier Service: Included in our standard postage options, typically taking 2-3 working days.
  • All items are fully insured, providing peace of mind during transit.

Tracking Information

  • Tracking details are emailed to customers when the courier picks them up (usually at around 4PM) but you dont recieve them they are available upon request. Contact us at [email protected] to retrieve tracking information.

Lost Items

In the unlikely event that an item is lost in transit, we will dispatch a replacement as soon as the courier confirms the item is lost or unrecoverable. This process can take 7-14 days.

Postage Costs

Delivery and insurance costs are included in the postage price, calculated at checkout based on your delivery address.


Returns Policy

Eligibility for Returns

We accept returns under the following conditions:

  • Items must be unused and in their original packaging.
  • The battery must remain at the same charge level as when it was sent.
  • Returns must be initiated within 14 days of purchase.
  • User Damage: Items damaged due to incorrect usage, collision, or improper handling are not eligible for returns. (but we can help you locate spares for repairing your item and can offer a repair service)

Reporting Missing Items

Any missing items must be reported within 48 hours of receipt. You may need to provide the total weight of the received goods for verification against our records as we weigh all packages as they leave our warehouse.

Non-Refundable Costs

  • PayPal/Stripe Fees: These fees are non-refundable unless:
    1. The item is received damaged.
    2. The item is out of stock or unavailable.
    3. The product does not match the description and is returned in its original condition.
  • Postage Costs: Non-refundable unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
  • Change of Heart: Returns due to a change of mind will incur an administrative fee of £20, and the original fees will be deducted from the refund.

Process for Returns

  1. Contact us at [email protected] and provide details of the issue.
  2. Include photos of the item (e.g., shell, electronics, tyres, and controller).
  3. If approved, ship the item back at your expense (reimbursed upon inspection and approval of the claim).
  4. Once we receive and inspect the item, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund or replacement.

Restocking Fees

  • Items returned due to a change of mind or used in any way may incur a restocking fee of £20 or result in rejection of the return.

Battery Testing and Warranty

  • All batteries are tested before dispatch, with cell voltage recorded to ensure viability.
  • Returned batteries must not have been charged or used. They will be tested upon receipt.
  • Due to the nature of LiPo batteries, warranties are limited and dependent on proper usage. Refer to our Battery Care Advice page for guidelines.
