About this product
Description
By the time the Quattrovalvole arrived in 1985, the Countach had been in production for a decade and Lamborghini had stopped apologising for it. The 5.2-litre V12 gained four-valve heads – quattrovalvole – lifting output to around 455bhp and finally giving the car the performance its silhouette had been promising since 1974.
Marcello Gandini’s wedge is the definitive supercar shape: scissor doors, a cabin pushed impossibly far forward, NACA ducts carved into the flanks and letterbox glass. The QV added the raised engine cover hump and the widest arches yet, and for a generation of enthusiasts this is the Countach.
Kyosho’s 1:18 die-cast captures it with the panel fit, paint depth and cabin detailing collectors expect from the brand’s static range.
Finished in red.
