The Savage range: HPI’s monster truck since 2002
The Savage is the truck HPI Racing is best known for, and the current range covers three sizes and two power types. The Savage X Flux V2 GT-6 is the 1/8 brushless truck with the twin-vertical-plate chassis the Savage made famous. The Savage XL Flux V2 GTXL-6 stretches the wheelbase and adds a low-CG chassis layout, twin battery boxes for longer runs, a centre differential and 17mm hex hubs.
For nitro drivers there is the Savage X 4.6 GT-6 and the long-wheelbase Savage XL 5.9 GTXL-6 with HPI’s big-block engines, plus the Savage XL Nitro SBK self-build kit for those who want to assemble their own. The Savage XS Flux brings the same layout down to a compact brushless truck that suits smaller spaces and lower budgets, including the Chevrolet El Camino SS edition.
