Coventry Model Car Club

Coventry Model Car club has been around for more than 50 years. We cater for both two and four-wheel drive buggies, Stadium trucks, Shortcourse trucks and vintage racing. The track was always purpose built for tenth scale so nothing larger or nitro sadly. We hold regular club meetings on the 2nd / 4th Sundays of each month and in the summer months we run on a Thursday evening, Currently practise is available very Saturday from 10am to 4pm (Free to members – £5 for Non-members) We have on-site male / female toilets and access to showers, we also have lots of space for camping which is chargeable at £5 per night Eventually once the site is complete we will have an onsite cafe and bar (Watch this space). The track is Astroturf with many natural undulations. The track is on a slight gradient with the far side slightly elevated compared to the rostrum and main straight. There is a multi-directional table top situated centrally in the track with 2 sausage style features sited on the left hand side. The back section is banked and also has another small table top feature in the middle. On the right hand side there is another small table top as you come back down towards race control. The track marking are laid using sand filled hoses, this enables us to layout multiple different track designs. The track can be run in both directions to double the amount of possibilities!
