Under the bold shell, the FZ02L-BT chassis delivers serious performance with a simplified, rigid structure that uses reinforced ribs, front/rear stiffeners, gear diffs, oil shocks, and full ball bearings. A near-symmetrical layout improves front–rear balance across the suspension and power system, giving you smooth, predictable control with added durability and impact resistance for drivers of any level.
Large, soft-compound wide tires with inner sponges and rounded shoulders provide strong grip and confidence across off-road terrain and on-road surfaces.
As a fully assembled Readyset, all you need is a drive battery, charger, and four AA batteries for the transmitter to get rolling. The MAD VAN MOONEYES Edition captures the freedom of California-inspired off-road fun with a chassis built for real performance.

●The body features an Ultra Scale Body design with injection-molded parts used throughout. LEDs can be installed in the front, rear, and visor (six lights at the front and two at the rear).

●The main chassis uses a lightweight, highly rigid glass-reinforced 66 nylon resin bathtub model.
●66 nylon is used for the suspension arm. Achieves a good balance between flexibility to absorb impact and rigidity around the foot.
●Equipped with bevel gear type differential gears on the front and rear. Ensuring smooth turning when cornering.
●Full ball bearing specifications minimize drive loss.
●Comes with the new powerful 550 size 14T brushed motor(G14L). The long can with Steel ring around the motor case and internal cooling fan provides efficient torque and high speeds.
●The front and rear suspensions are equipped with a 12mm diameter big bore oil damper. Achieves stable driving by absorbing the impact from the road surface during off-road driving.
●Ball connect type kingpins are used on the front knuckle arm up and down. The caster angle can be easily changed in 3 steps by moving the front upper suspension arm position back and forth with a spacer.
●Since the motor mount has mounting holes according to the pinion gear, troublesome backlash adjustment is unnecessary. Supports from 29T to 37T.
●Uses button screws with hexagonal holes in each part. Reliable tightening torque can be applied, and maintenance is possible with even fewer tools.

Body Color
MOONEYES-designed original color scheme features a metallic finish that beautifully highlights the sculpted contours of the body.

Steering Wheel Cover
The transmitter’s steering wheel is fitted with a special horn cap inspired by moon discs.

The ESC (left) is a BRAINZ 8 that can withstand high loads and has 10 output programs to choose from. The receiver (right) is housed in a special case to protect it from dirt and damage caused by dirt and dust.

Visor
Upgraded visor now supports the optional LED light unit (sold separately recommended:No.97054-4C LED Light Unit (Ø5 / 4 LEDs / L=400 / Clear), letting you enjoy easy lighting customization with expanded functionality.

License Plate
License plate and frame modeled after actual MOONEYES products adds a unique American flair.

Side Muffler
Chassis-integrated side exhausts add scale realism and custom-car flair for extra style and driving excitement.
