This is a ready-to-run (RTR) model that arrives fully assembled and ready to drive, making it accessible to beginners. However, sand buggies with brushless motors and 4WD do require basic driving skills to handle properly, so some prior RC experience would be helpful.
The package includes both a NiMH 6-cell 7.2V battery and is compatible with 2S LiPo batteries (up to 30C). A charger is included, but exact charge times depend on the charger model—check the manual for specific timings.
The box includes the assembled buggy, 2.4GHz radio system, NiMH battery, charger, manual, and spare parts list. You'll need to purchase four AA batteries separately for the radio controller.
The 1:10 scale buggy measures 425mm long, 285mm wide, and 150mm high, weighing approximately 1.9kg. This is a compact size that should fit easily in most car boots.
The water-resistant speed controller and servo, combined with adjustable oil shocks and ball-bearing transmission, make it well-suited for sand and rough terrain. Water-resistant doesn't mean waterproof, so avoid submerging it, but light moisture and wet sand should pose no problem.
