About this product
The CR3.4eco Crawler in Bronco style is of interest to all those who love purist crawling or want to get started in this fascinating hobby on a small budget.
This vehicle is a “downgrade” of our original chassis “CR3.4 RTR” which is among the best on the market and this since 2020 already!
The quality of the installed parts is of course the same as its fully equipped brothers. The mounting points for special equipment such as the differential locks or 2-speed gearbox would theoretically also be available.
The vehicle comes as standard with a 550 32T Brushed High Torque motor and a HobbyWing 40A speed controller. You can use jumpers on the speed control to determine whether the vehicle be powered by a 7.2V NiMH battery or a 2S or 3S (low profile) LiPo battery!
Portal axles not only offer a greater distance from the differential housing to the ground than conventional axles, they also have another positive feature. With conventional crawlers, the torque applies so much force that the vehicle jumps over the obstacle. The design of the portal axles reduces the Gear ratio at the wheels and virtually eliminates torque shocks from the drive. The overall reduction ratio of the axle drive is more than double that of non-portal versions to ensure smooth running.
The steering shock absorber absorbs most hard impacts so that the 9kg MG steering servo and the servo arm are spared. Hardened steel drive shafts and a steering angle of 45.8° offer the best possibilities for any terrain. Added to this are the 2.2″ tires, which not only look stylish, but also offer extremely good grip thanks to the super-soft tires.
Our 4-channel, 2.4 GHz CR4S-V2 radio control system completes the package.

Frequently Asked Questions
Yes, the CR3.4eco is designed for newcomers to the hobby as well as experienced crawling enthusiasts. It comes ready-to-run (RTR) with all essential components included, so you can start crawling straight away without additional assembly or purchases.
The CR3.4eco accepts either a 7.2V NiMH battery or 2S/3S LiPo batteries (low profile). The HobbyWing 40A speed controller has jumpers you can configure to switch between these battery types, giving you flexibility in your power choice.
The RTR package includes the assembled chassis, a 2.4GHz CR4S-V2 four-channel remote control, a 9kg metal-gear steering servo, a HobbyWing 40A speed controller, a 550 32T brushed motor, and all structural components such as portal axles, aluminium suspension, and steel drive shafts. You will need to supply your own battery and charger.
Portal axles increase ground clearance and, more importantly, reduce the gear ratio at the wheels, which virtually eliminates torque shocks that cause conventional crawlers to jump over obstacles. This results in much smoother, more controlled terrain navigation.
This is a 1:10 scale crawler, making it a compact, portable model suitable for indoor and outdoor use. The 2.2" tyres are a standard micro-scale tyre size; they are soft-compound for excellent grip and are proportionate to the vehicle's scale.
